Crucially, this soap is completely fragrance-free, containing no essential oils or synthetic perfumes, which are common triggers for irritation.The combination of moisturising goat's milk and comforting colloidal oatmeal is our gentlest formulation. It's designed to cleanse thoroughly without stripping the natural moisture barrier, which is often a concern for those with very dry or easily irritated skin. While many customers with skin prone to dryness and itchy patches find it works beautifully for them, we always recommend doing a patch test first.
Is the oatmeal in the soap scratchy? Will it feel rough on my skin?
Not at all. We use high-quality colloidal oatmeal which is finely ground to soften within the soap.
While you can see the lovely, natural flecks of oatmeal, they are gentle on the skin and are not scratchy. They are there to provide a very mild, skin-buffing exfoliation without any harshness, making the bar perfectly suitable for sensitive skin.

We believe in being completely transparent! The main consideration is that because it is a dairy product, our goat's milk soap is not vegan. Finally, as a natural bar, it can be softer than commercial soaps, which is why we recommend letting it dry properly between uses.
